HERITAGE, 2021

Indonesian textile patterns vary from one province to another. Various patterns and motifs and types of cloth have different meanings attached to them. These patterns are inspired by heritage patterns seen in various Palembang and Makassar songket cloth and batik patterns.

Traditional clothes such as songket, not only function as a complement to traditional clothing but have also become a symbol. It is a symbol as well as hope for everyone to foster a high sense of optimism towards a plan and implementation of an activity. Songket and/or batik cloth have also become a symbol of togetherness and unity for all children of the nation regardless of their origin.
