STREET BEATS, 2019
When the beat of the music relives a memory, I become immersed in the moment. Street Beats aim to reciprocate emotions and textures I have experienced and/or seen in Brunswick when I listen to my playlist. The bold and daring color palette of this project is inspired by the urban core aesthetic seen in Brunswick. The imagery of modern-day society such as graffiti, nightlife, posters embodies a youthful and somewhat artistic, and confident spirit in a moment of time. Different weave and knit techniques were utilized to convey this aesthetic.
